DESCRIPTION:Calling all birders! New birders\, wannabe birders\, experience
 d birders--BCDC welcomes everyone to the BIG SIT at Rose Tree Park\, count
 ing birds for conservation. We'll be "sitting" (often standing) near the g
 azebo\, all day from dawn to dusk\, tallying birds we can see or hear from
  this spot. BCDC has hosted a Big Sit at Rose Tree nearly every year since
  2006\, averaging 50 species on the second weekend in October. Highlights 
 include early-morning thrushes and owls\, Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers\
 , Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks\, Bald Eagles\, Osprey\, vultures\, 
 Peregrine Falcon\, and more!\n\nJoin us for a few minutes\, hours\, or all
  day! Bring a lawn chair and binoculars\, enjoy some snacks\, learn about 
 birds\, chat with friendly people\, and help add to our tally board of spe
 cies seen on a fall weekend at Rose Tree Park.
