DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join the early fall bird walk at John Heinz 
 National Wildlife Refuge\, an urban oasis in southwest Philadelphia.\n\nWe
 'll stroll through warbler woods and scan the picturesque landscape from t
 he Big Boardwalk looking for migrants on the move\, like warblers\, flycat
 chers\, swallows\, raptors\, and more! There is always something interesti
 ng to see at Heinz Refuge.\n\nTerrain is flat and mostly even. Bring binoc
 ulars and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Prepare for varied weather cond
 itions - often quite warm in September. Meet at the entrance arch near the
