SUMMARY:Bird Walk at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a comfortable-pace bird walk at Arlington Cemetery\
 , looking for resident and migratory bird species among trees\, shrubs\, a
 nd flowers of this peaceful green space. Spring migration is underway at t
 he end of April\, and we hope to find a variety of colorful warblers\, ori
 oles\, vireos\, flycatchers\, thrushes and other songbirds\, as well as ra
 ptors\, woodpeckers\, sparrows\, and maybe a rare vagrant passing through.
 \n\nDuring the bird walk we’ll participate in the Philadelphia area City
  Nature Challenge. This worldwide community science initiative runs April 
 24-27\, using iNaturalist to take a snapshot of nature everywhere! If you
 ’d like to join the CNC fun\, download iNaturalist onto your smart phone
  before you arrive\, and submit photos of plants\, insects\, birds\, and a
 ll-things nature on-site.\n\nMeet at Toppitzer Funeral Home at 8 am. We'll
  walk about 1.5 miles along a paved road\, so wear comfortable walking sho
 es. Bring binoculars or borrow some.\n\nFREE to attend. All are welcome: y
